'I never cry in real life' : vindoo dara singh

'I never cry in real life' : vindoo dara singh

Ever since Vindu Dara Singh won the third season of Bigg Boss, he cannot stop smiling. When he chatted with Rediff readers yesterday, he continued to be in a really good mood, and gave some really interesting insights into his life and Bigg Boss.

For those who missed the chat, here's the transcript:

Vindu Dara Singh says, Hi everyone. Thanks for logging on. Would love to chat with you guys!

raj asked, Hi Vindu I am in Germany but I never really missed watching your performance. It was straight from the heart and original. nothing fake. You are a simple person but eventually you proved simply the best. How did you manage so much of patience and tolerance even even when all other people in the house were against you all the time?

Vindu Dara Singh answers, I am happy that you understood the kind of person that I am. And it was Poonam, another housemate, who made me patient, when the whole house was against me. God and my family were always on my mind.

naveed asked, what was your strategy that worked for you? plotting or no plotting against your fellow housemates?

Vindu Dara Singh answers, I never plotted, ever. And the video you guys saw was Raju asking me who I was irritated with. I never lie, so I would tell him that the dirty guys have to go. And that was a time when Bhaktiyar was the dirtiest.

gaurav asked, hello vindu...we simply love u becaus of your honesty.

Vindu Dara Singh answers, It's very easy to be honest, and very difficult to lie. Because a lie will make you lie a thousand times. But an honest answer, you'll never have to justify it. So please never lie.

Harsh Vadalia asked, who was ur best friend from the Bigg Boss house? Raju or Poonam?

Vindu Dara Singh answers, Both, but I loved Ismail and Vinod.

Shruti asked, A big congrats to desh ka jaat :) - We all love u and Poonam - Wish u all the best in ur carrer further, wld like to see u more. My say to u is - "Dont share ur prize money with fake selfish people like Aditi, Tanaaz who dont know the respect being given to a such a senior lady age wise and potentially too - and then telling about what cultural values are - Be friends with Poonam

Vindu Dara Singh answers, I just spoke to Poonamji and have a party planned for tomorrow. I shall invite all the Bigg Boss contestants, and for the last time meet some of them. Because I promised them a party while I was in the house.

koushik asked, Do u cry that much in real life or it was on screen drama to gather more vote?

Vindu Dara Singh answers, I never cry in real life. But that House made me cry like a baby. And the love that I'm getting from all of you is still not letting me stop. I thought that my last tear was shed when I left that house, but the country's love is making me cry out of happiness. When I'm angry, my fists work.

drockdrock asked, if u r asked to go to house again either with Pravesh or Verma, whom will you choose?

Vindu Dara Singh answers, Verma.

pankaj asked, Hi Vindu, Congratulation to u , first time I voted in any of reality show is for u, don't you think one need not to tell that he/she is a good person (which definitely you are ) and should be left for others to make decision?

Vindu Dara Singh answers, I would never boast, but in that house they made me feel I was the worst guy on Earth. And I don't believe that, so I had to let everyone know that I was better than all of them.

chats 54@rediffmail. com asked, Hello sir! i am sure ur father must b proud to see u winning the game n m glad to see ur emotional side as well! Sir now after wining this hude money what r ur plan to contribute to India

Vindu Dara Singh answers, I love my country and have already told many people that whenever they need me for any good cause, I shall be there for free.

pom asked, hi Vindu do you think if bakhtiyar had stayed in the house he could have defeated you because Amitji said that he got the maximum votes whenever he was nominated?

Vindu Dara Singh answers, Not in this lifetime. Amitji kept his heart and didn't want to hurt him. That's all.

koushik asked, Did you (along with all other Bigg Boss participants) get daily allowance or some contract amount for staying in Bigg Boss house?

Vindu Dara Singh answers, Yes. Weekly payments. So if you stayed for three weeks, you were paid accordingly. The prize money was only for the winner. And guess who that was!

vaibhav asked, vindhu ...1 question I always wanted to ask .....you are much stronger than Parvesh ...then why didnt you bash him when he was doing all that rubush stuff ... he even humiliated the food .....you didnt u tell him that he is an absolute idiot

Vindu Dara Singh answers, Amitabh Bachchan made me promise that I will not hit anybody in there. And I will die before I break a promise to the great man. And I did tell him that he was an idiot, when he spoke in front of the kids.

biggb asked, hi vindu... how does it feel to be back with the family after such a long time

Vindu Dara Singh answers, Feels great! I missed my family like crazy, and it's always good to be with people you can trust blindly.

‘I did not want to win at the cost of my dignity’ - Poonam Dhillon

‘I did not want to win at the cost of my dignity’ - Poonam Dhillon

Bigg Boss second runner-up Poonam Dhillon has not changed her colors after the event unlike Vindoo and Pravesh and maintains the same calmness that she displayed inside the Lonavala Bunglow.

Here is the graceful actress in a frank chit chat

How did you feel on losing out on the final day?

I don't feel I lost. As for as I am concerned, all the three finalists are winners. Look at Pravesh Rana, being a commoner he reached till the very end, thanks to his popularity. The love and respect that I got from the public, especially women has overwhelmed me. It is more than made up for all the trouble I undertook during the stay like going to jail etc. It's not that I did not want to win, but not at the cost of my dignity.

What did you come here for?

I wanted the generation of my children to know me. And I feel I have succeeded, for my son told me 'Mom I am proud of you'.

What do you feel about a woman losing again?

I look at things differently. At least a woman did reach the finals. The fair sex seems to have different priorities. For us our children always come first, may be that was the reason why they forget to vote as well.

Do you think that your lack of drama may have cost you?

I can't be aggressive and loud. Some people actually thought that my calmness was a game plan, but I am like this only. I only opened my mouth towards the end when Aditi Gowitrikar dragged my children into the mix which was wrong. I know about her family but kept quite. May be she got insecure about me. I prefer to deal with rivalry in a different manner. I will never put down my opponents or insult them.

Recently Kamal Khan was quoted as saying that you only do 'Paat' and cook?

He seems to consider throwing bottles, abusing and fighting, as better options to gain popularity.

How did you spend the 84 days?

At first I was worried whether I will be able to live without my Blackberry and computer, but soon I was pretty cool without these communication devices. What I really missed were my books and I tried to make up for it by cooking.

Did you miss your kids?

Yes I did. I was bit anxious about my son's entrance exams. But I was not worried as his father and my sisters were around to guide him.

Is it necessary to play the game?

You need to be a drama queen, for if everybody is just eating and sitting quietly, it would be no fun. So Bigg Boss introduced certain tasks as psychological ploys to incite drama; some worked while few did not.

How did you deal with the stress?

I did not have any major issues, but those with weak family support structures like Rohit Verma and Sheryln Chopra did crumble under pressure. Even Bakhtiyaar Irani seemed to loose his cool often.

Your take on the winner Vindoo Dara Singh?

Vindoo is a real nice friend; he respected me a lot and would always praise me.

What next?

I had voluntarily quit films so that I could be with my kids. Now they themselves are telling me to do my own thing. Let's see what projects I get now.

I learnt to maintain cool from Bigg Boss show: Pravesh Rana

I learnt to maintain cool from Bigg Boss show: Pravesh Rana

The hot-headed former Mr India, Pravesh Rana has said that the biggest thing he has learnt from Bigg Boss show is to maintain his cool.

"Now, I have learnt that come what may, under any circumstances one should never lose his cool," Pravesh told reporters after the show.

Pravesh earned Bigg Boss and audiences wrath after he threw all the food in the house. "Throwing food was something very wrong on my part. I have never done it and would not do it again. I apologise for the same."

"From the show and the winner Vindhu Dara Singh, I have learnt three things. First admit your mistake. Then apologise for it. And do not repeat it," he said.

On his objective behind participation in the show Pravesh said he wanted that everybody comes to know about him.

Vindu used emotions to win Bigg Boss 3, Rupali Ganguly effect??

Vindu used emotions to win Bigg Boss 3, Rupali Ganguly effect??

Vindu Dara Singh, the son of veteran wrestler and actor Dara Singh who won the third season of Bigg Boss by defeating former Mr. India Pravesh Rana and bollywood actress Poonam Dhillon in the finals, may not be that emotional as he showed himself to be on the Amitabh Bachchan- hosted reality show.

There is a strong buzz doing the rounds in the industry that Vindu Dara Singh just might be following the example set by earlier contestant Rupali Ganguly. Vindu Dara Singh’s shedding tears over every small matter in the Bigg Boss 3 house resembled to Rupali Ganguly’s effort at gaining sympathy of the audience in Bigg Boss 2.

Even Raju Shrivastava, another contestant on Bigg Boss 3, had commented that Vindu had taken birth of a ‘man’ but sheds buckets of tears like a ‘woman’. In fact, Raju Shrivastava had gone on mocking Vindu on the show by saying that what would his wrestler father Dara Singh think of him after watching the show.

However, while Vindoo Dara Singh’s effort at gaining sympathy of the audiences through crying became successful, Rupali’s effort had miserably failed and she was evicted from the house. This theory attributes this success on the part of Vindoo to the fact that when a man sheds tears, it seems something unconventional, but it is not so in the matter of a women (like Rupali).

The above theorists cite the example of Vindoo Dara Singh on the stage with Big B after winning the jackpot of Rs one crore. They point out that Vindoo did not show his emotional nature outside the house, not to speak of shedding tears from his eyes.

However, it can not be disputed that Vindoo was the most honest person on the show. Just recall his admission that he had not earned that much of money at one go before Bigg Boss 3 win. He even attributed his success to ‘Janata Ka Aadesh’ and blessings of his family, especially father Dara Singh.

Even if he was faking his emotional nature on the reality show, Vindoo’s disarming honesty entitled him to be the winner of the bigg boss 3. In fact, of all the contestants on the show, only Vindoo was the person who had been speaking his mind freely without any malice towards anybody.

Bigg Boss winner Vindu speaks of Shahrukh Khan, Sourav Ganguly and Amelia whom he wants to kiss 1000 times

All eyes were glued to the TV sets this Saturday, as the winner of Bigg Boss 3 was announced and the head that wore the crown was of Vindu Dara Singh, the son of wrestler-turned-actor Dara Singh (still known by the ageing minds as the ‘Hanuman’ of Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan).

Emerging out from the dreaded house, he, in a brief interview, thanked the Calcuttans. “Earlier this year, I had gone to South Africa with Shah Rukh Khan to cheer for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. There I met Akshay and people from the Colors team and that’s how I landed up in the show. I am a KKR man, I am a Ganguly fan,” he remarked.

When quizzed on what’s the 1st thing he’d do, now that he’s out of the virtual jail, Vindu turns a tad sentimental and quips, “I will kiss my daughter Amelia a thousand times. I will touch my mother and father’s feet and I will party the whole night with my friends. My life’s just started.”

Vindoo on top of the world

Vindoo on top of the world

He was the last man standing in Bigg Boss Season 3 and though he has bagged Rs1 crore and a car, success hasn't sunk in yet for Vindoo Dara Singh. The actor admits that it is because of Akshay Kumar that he went inside the house which has changed his life altogether. "I remember I met Akshay abroad in a hotel during the shooting of Khatron Ke Khiladi. I just told him that they were planning the third season of Bigg Boss and I always wanted to be there. He treats me like a brother and told me that he will put in a word. I credit my success to him. Without Akshay, I would not have been in the house," he says.

With congratulatory messages still pouring in from viewers and his friends like Akshay, Suniel Shetty and Sajid Khan, he is basking in the success that has eluded him for a long time. "I know I was always known as Dara Singh's son and I never became an actor with immense popularity. But I was happy with my share of earnings and I was never out of work. Moreover, Bigg Boss wasn't like I did something extraordinary; I just went in and was being myself. This is the best thing that has happened to me till now and I am just hoping that the win brings me good work," he adds.

The actor is already flooded with offers from South Indian films and TV shows. "Tanaaz, Bakhtiyaar or Pravesh can bark but I know that the country loves me and would like to see me in shows. Sajid (Khan) told me that now people will write characters for me. It's overwhelming."

Out of his inmates, he is firm on being friends with Poonam Dhillon, Ismail Darbar, Raju Shrivastava. "I would be only calling them. Others can call me and I will have no grudges while answering them like a friend but I am not going to be calling

I participated in Bigg Boss to connect with next gen: Poonam Dhillon

I participated in Bigg Boss to connect with next gen: Poonam Dhillon

Had she won, actress Poonam Dhillon would have become the first woman to win the Bigg Boss show.

However, even after being pipped by Vindoo Dara Singh, the yesteryear Bollywood star says she has no regrets because she participated in the show to connect to a younger audience, and the target has been achieved.

"According to me, though all the three participants were good, only one could win," Poonam said after being declared the second runner-up of the show.

While Vindoo won the show, former Mr India Pravesh Rana was declared the first runner-up.

"My children and their generation are oblivious to the stardom I have enjoyed in my heydays. I participated in Bigg Boss so that the younger generation comes to know about me and respect me," Poonam told reporters here today adding that her purpose has been achieved after staying in the house for 84 long days.

On the experience as a whole, the Noorie star said, "Initially I missed my computer for a few days. But later on, I learnt to live sans all the communication gadgets we are so used to nowadays. I also missed reading as I am a voracious reader. I think I compensated the absence of books by spending all the time I had in kitchen," she said.

'I have no grudge against Rohit Verma' : Pravesh Rana

'I have no grudge against Rohit Verma' : Pravesh Rana

Pravesh Rana was a strong contender to win the third season of Bigg Boss But even though he missed the big win to Vindu Singh, Pravesh is all praise for him.

When Amitabh Bachchan asked him to reveal the one thing no one knew about him, he said it was his respect for Vindu. "Even though I fought a lot with Vindu, in my heart, I always respected him," Pravesh said, adding, "He is a straightforward person and good at heart. I learnt three lessons from him -- owning up to any wrongs done, asking for forgiveness from the people you have hurt and admitting your mistakes and making sure you do not repeat them.

"Vindu deserved to win this show because he lived in the house for 84 days and I entered after four weeks," Pravesh adds. "Since this show is over, I consider him as a brother now. He was the best player."

Pravesh considers himself lucky to be a part of the show. "Nobody knew who I was before I came on this show though I won the title of Mr India World 2008. I came on this show through auditions, group discussions and interviews."

Pravesh claimed that the time he threw food in the swimming pool in order to starve housemates Vindu and Poonam Dhillon changed him as a person. He was later punished by Bigg Boss -- he was asked to fast for 24 hours, and prepare food and feed 10 poor children. The incident taught him a lesson on anger management.

Poonam and Vindu appear shocked to see food floating in the poolWill he stay in touch with the housemates? "Yes, I would love to," he answers. "I have no grudge against Rohit Verma . If he has changed as a person, I would love to be his friend."

What about Claudia, with whom Pravesh spent many close moments? "We were best friends in the house and will continue to remain good friends. But I wasn't involved with her (smiles)."

As Bigg Boss draws its curtains, Pravesh does not know what lies in store for him. "But I'm open to any good work," he signs off.

I would love to do more reality shows : Poonam Dhillon

I would love to do more reality shows : Poonam Dhillon

Poonam Dhillon was declared the second runner-up of Bigg Boss 3 last weekend, following winner Vindu Singh and Pravesh Rana . But she has no regrets. Her mission of connecting with a younger audience has been successful.

"It was a unique experience, living in Bigg Boss house for 84 days," Poonam said. "It would have been fantastic had I won but I am not sad that didn't.

"My children and their generation are not aware of the stardom I had enjoyed during my younger days. I participated in Bigg Boss so that the younger generation gets to know about me and be proud of me. I think my purpose has been fulfilled," she continued.

Poonam is quite happy with the way she conducted herself in the house. In fact, the actress did not get into any kind of controversy while she was inside. "My son said he was proud of me," Poonam said. "I am a quiet person, not too loud or dramatic. I heard that women liked me on this show. I have gained a lot of respect and that's worth it.

"Being calm and tolerant is a bigger achievement than being aggressive and losing your mind and dignity. I didn't want to win by doing that. Though all the three finalists were good only one could win," she added.

What did she miss most while she was inside the house? "Initially, I missed my computer," she answered. "But I learnt to live without gadgets. I am a voracious reader, so I missed reading too. I compensated the absence of books by spending all the time cooking (smiles)."

Did Poonam make any friends in Bigg Boss house? "After coming out of the house I got a warm welcome from Sherlyn Chopra , Rohit Verma , Jaya Sawant and Claudia. Sherlyn told me that she will treat me like her mother whether I will like it or not. Rohit echoed her feelings. So now I have two more children (smiles). Vindu has a lot of respect for me. He would constantly tell me how much he loved me. I don't need anything more than this because this is most important thing that you can earn in your life," she said.

Poonam was not comfortable with Aditi Govitrikar towards the end of the show. Aditi even said that she wouldn't like to see Poonam win the title. "I knew Aditi before coming on this show," Poonam clarifies. "She was nice to me for seven-eight weeks but towards the end, I felt she treated me like a rival. I know it's a game but I was surprised."

So will we see Poonam in more television shows? "I took part in the mother of all reality shows Bigg Boss. My children want me to work now. They feel they are big enough to care of themselves. Though I took a break from films to spend quality time with my children, I did some TV shows like Kitty Party and Andaaz. I would love to do more reality shows."

‘Time I earn my own identity’

‘Time I earn my own identity’

There couldn’t have been a better New Year gift — the Bigg Boss 3 crown and a Rs 1 crore booty. Actor Vindu Dara Singh came out of the show’s house in style.

“Anyone who can win against Raju, is a real winner in this game. After all, he makes India laugh. The country loved him,” says Vindu about fellow contestant and comedian Raju Shrivastav, moments after he was announced the winner by host Amitabh Bachchan.

Fistcuffs, verbal duals, plotting and planning and lies — Vindu tried it all to win and in turn was nominated to be voted out seven times by fellow inmates. About his victory against the odds, he says, “India loves people who can dare to speak the truth. That’s what people liked about me.”

The son of wrestler-actor Dara Singh, he was often accused of using his father’s name to get work. Now he is happy he has an opportunity to come out of his father’s shadow. “It’s about time I earn my own identity and be known by my name.”

And Vindu wants to put his new found celeb status to good use. “I’m not a politician, but want to give back something to the people who have given so much to me. I’m soon going to meet Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, who do so much good without letting the world know about it.”

Amitji made me cry: Vindu

Amitji made me cry: Vindu

You’ve watched him take digs at his fellow contestants. You’ve also seen him cry like a baby over not-so-crucial issues. But despite topping the list of must-not-win-Bigg Boss contestants, Vindu Dara Singh has had the last laugh. Besides winning Bigg Boss 3, Vindu also took home a car for being the most stylist contestant, much to the disappointment of most of the housemates. Vindu, on his ups and downs in the house:

‘I’m the best, so is Poonamji’: Confident of his win since day 1, Vindu begins the interview with a question? “Didn’t you think I’d make it?” and replies, “Everybody has been reiterating the same point – my win is expected. In fact, the moment Poonamji’s name was declared for the third position, I knew I was the winner.” Vindu sounded moved by Poonam not being able to bag the award. “ Poonamji came across as the most mature person in the show. Unhone kisi ke saath durvyavhaar nahin kiya. Shayad unka sahi attitude hi unke liye galat ho gaya. Mujhe kaafi bura lag raha hai doosron ke liye jinhe kuch nahin mila bas samajh nahin ata ki kya karoon unke liye .” Did he expect her to win? “Yes, because these shows cater largely to female audience. So getting their votes wouldn’t have been a task,” he replies.

Pravesh Rana, a Bigg loser? Naah! Remember the verbal spat, which the utterance of word aukaat created between Vindu and Pravesh? Vindu feels Pravesh got what he deserved. “I don’t feel for him. Jeetne ki uski aukaat nahi thi ,” he says. Vindu is, however, convinced about the change in Pravesh’s life. “He’s changed ever since he realised how wrong he was in throwing the food items in the pool. My wife and brother are not wiling to accept this, nobody is, to be honest. But I know he has changed. Iss show se woh ek saaf dilwala banke nikla hai.”

At your service, ma’am: Of all the household chores - cleaning, doing dishes, cooking - Vindu says he washed the maximum utensils. “ Maine bahut kaam kiya hai . I happy that the stay also helped me learn how to cook daal and aloo gobhi and prepare dough,” reveals Vindu.

‘Amitji was like God’: What made him cry so much on the show? “The last time, before joining this show, I cried was when I watched the flick Kuch Kuch Hot Hai . But the emotional breakdown in the show was an offshoot of not being able to find trustworthy people. I couldn’t trust anybody. To me Amitji was like God. That’s why I would cry while speaking to him,” he says. And now, that he out of the confines of the house, all that Vindu is looking forward to is a table tennis match with actor Danny. Hope, he wins that too!

Vindu Dara Singh wins 'Bigg Boss 3'

Vindu Dara Singh wins 'Bigg Boss 3'

Actor Vindu Dara Singh won the third season of popular TV reality show "Bigg Boss" and walked away with prize money of Rs 1 crore. The finale of the show took place here late on Saturday.

Vindhu pipped veteran actress Poonam Dhillon and model Pravesh Rana win the show after staying in the "Bigg Boss" house since Oct 4 without any contact with the outside world.

The 45-year-old, son of former wrestling champion and actor Dara Singh, has been waiting for one big push in his career since making his film debut in 1994.

In the third season, it was Vindu's bouts of anger which became one of the main TRP-earning factors. He was often the man behind most of the plotting and planning on the show and engaged in many verbal fights with his co-contestants.

But luck worked in his favour and he received maximum votes from the public but his father never voted for him.

"'Yeh SMS karna bachchon ke liye hota hai' (Sending SMS votes is all for kids). I haven't sent any vote for Vindu. Our relatives and friends have sent votes for him," Dara Singh said.

Vindu's victory would hopefully work in his favour because even though he had his father's legacy, he couldn't script the same success story.

Vindu made his acting debut with Hindi film "Karan" (1994).

Since then, he has acted in many films, mostly in supporting roles. He has also acted in TV serials, including the role of Lord Hanuman in the serial "Jai Shri Hanuman", like his father did in the super-hit Doordarshan serial "Ramayan".

He has played negative roles in serials like "Ssshhhh...Koi Hai" and "Karma" and also did Punjabi movie "Rab Dian Rakhan" (1996), directed by his father. Vindu was recently seen in "Kambakkht Ishq" and "Partner".

Even his father is pinning his hopes that his victory on "Bigg Boss 3" would do good to his acting career as he feels his son has not got his due in the industry.

"I don't think Vindu has got many opportunities to show his acting calibre. He played Hanuman in 'Jai Shri Hanuman' for which he is remembered, but I always tell him to keep trying. Being in a famous show like 'Bigg Boss' will be very advantageous for him, but even if that doesn't work in his favour, I believe he should keep trying," he said.

The finale, hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, saw performances by evicted contestants of the season like Raju Srivastav, Claudia Ciesla, Kamaal Rashid Khan, Sherlyn Chopra, Shamita Shetty, Tanaaz Currim and Aditi Govitrikar.

Parvesh declares war against Vindu, Poonam

Parvesh declares war against Vindu, Poonam

As the Big Boss Grand Finale is just a few days away, Pravesh Rana has declared war against the other two finalists Vindu Dara Singh and Poonam Dhillon. Parvesh went in for the hunger strike and threw all the food items in to the swimming pool, in order to keep Vindu and Poonam hungry too. He was seen worried and unsecured about his vote countdown because of the Vindu and Poonam's celebrity status.

All this 'food wasting' procedure took surface only because of a fight between Parvesh and Vindu Dara Singh. Parvesh and Vindu exchanged some heated conversation recently. Parvesh took to food strike after this and decided to make his other two housemates suffer from hunger. He poured all the foodies to the pool leaving nothing to chew for his fellow mates.

Mr. India 2008, Parvesh Rana from Meerut, who himself is no less than a celebrity was seen worried about the Vindu and Poonam's celebrity status that it might affect his votes overall.
Parvesh has openly challenged Vindu and Poonam and used a derogatory word ''pilla'' for the people who are constantly voting for Vindu making him stay in the House. He challenged the fans of Vindu and Poonam to vote for him portraying himself as a common man or say, aam aadmi unlike them.

Earlier Parvesh and Vindu were seen celebrating and singing after Bakhtiyar got eliminated from the house making their way easier to victory.

The next couple of days inside Bigg Boss house inside may have a stormy atmosphere and could witness some high drama too. Bigg Boss may even make Parvesh face a deciplinary action today for resorting to the new trick of 'food management'.

Pravesh rebels, throws food items in pool

Pravesh rebels, throws food items in pool

Miffed by the apparent high handedness of Bigg Boss housemates Poonam Dhillon and Vindu Dara Singh, Pravesh Rana threw all food items in the swimming pool of the Bigg Boss house.

He later said this act was to teach the two inmates a lesson and show what a common man can do.

Pravesh, who was Mr India for the year 2008, is apparently worried that Vindu and Poonam's celebrity status may cut down his votes.

Pravesh is projecting himself as a "common man", who is fighting against the celebrities.

Despite warnings from the Bigg Boss, Pravesh seems to have run into trouble again. He may face tough action for his act.

I'm an emotional person : Bhakhtyar irani

Bhakhtyar: I'm an emotional person

In a new twist to Bigg Boss , its housemates were offered Rs 10 lakh to quit the reality show earlier this week. While Poonam Dillon, Vindoo Singh and Pravesh Rana refused the money, Bhakhtyar Irani decided to take it and walk out.

Before leaving, he shed one last tear and said that it was just not his destiny to win a reality show.

Bhakhtyar talks to Rajul Hegde about his time in the house.

What was the first thing you did after coming out of the house?

I was in a secret room until the episode was aired. I met Amitabh Bachahan for the Akree Salaam and then went home. I woke my son up at 1.45 am and played with him till 3 am.

Don't you think you broke the hearts of your fans by opting to leave the show?

I apologise to all the fans, who voted for me. I request them to respect my decision because nothing is pre-planned.

I didn't appreciate what I had done to my wife (Tanaaz Irani) after watching the video clips. When I saw the video where my wife cried because of my behavior, I realised I should go. I was shattered and lost confidence to be in the finals.

When I was given this opportunity by Bigg Boss, I evaluated the pros and cons and decided leaving was better. I had bright chances of winning but I didn't want to be one of the people, clapping for the winner.

Why do you cry all the time? Are you like this in real life too?

Yes. I am an emotional person, just like you saw. Certain things upset me. People saw my aggressive side on the show too. But now, I want to do shows where I can show off my positive side.

What will you do with the Rs 10 lakh?

I have not decided yet.

How difficult was it to showcase your private life for the public?

I shouldn't have shouted at my wife. That was not needed. A sorry is not worth a crore. I know one contender had to win.

I decided to go on the show thinking that normal people would there because Mr Bachchan is the host. I didn't know that insane people like Kamal Khan and Vindoo Singh would fight over spilt milk.

Your fights with Tanaaz looked scripted.

Bigg Boss is not scripted. How can anyone's emotions be scripted? And if it scripted, how can I say bad words to my wife? If I were offered Rs 1 crore in the beginning of the show and asked to use bad words against my wife, I would have slapped that person. I will not stoop to that level for TRP's.

Who do you think deserved to win Bigg Boss, among Tanaaz and your friends Shamita Shetty and Aditi Govitrikar ?

Tanaaz. I am not saying this because she is my wife. I don't think Aditi could have created the impact Tanaaz created in six weeks, in 11 weeks. Shamita was in the house for five weeks but I don't think she would have made her presence felt even if she was locked in the house for four months. They didn't add anything to the show.

But I must say that they were the most genuine people in the house. They played safe because they didn't want to get into any kind of controversy.

There were reports that after Bigg Boss, Tanaaz and you would head for a divorce.

Nobody can separate us. Neither reality shows nor any person can rule our life.

Describe the housemates in one word:

Kamal Khan: Moron
Vindoo: Dumb, dumber
Poonam Dhillon : Shrewd
Shamita Shetty: Smart
Aditi Govitrikar: Strong, confident
Tanaaz: Vibrant

Pravesh may face punishment in Bigg Boss 3, aping Rahul Mahajan??

Pravesh may face punishment in Bigg Boss 3, aping Rahul Mahajan??

Pravesh Rana, former Mr. Indiawho is one of the finalists in Bigg Boss 3 house along with Vindu Dara Singh and Poonam Dhillon, may face punishment for his unruly behavior of throwing out food articles in the swimming pool.

Pravesh Rana, who is a shrewd player of the game in bigg boss’ house, suddenly seems to have lost his nerves and trying to imitate Rahul Mahajan’s way of going out just before the grand finale of the show. This all had started after Bakhtiayaar Irani, another finalist, opted to quit in lieu of Rs 10 lakhs.

At that time, Pravesh Rana was ecstatic as he felt that after the elimination of one more candidate, he had more chances of hitting the jackpot of Rs one crore. However, within a day everything seems to have changed and he started feeling insecure from Vindu Dara Singh’s relaxed attitude in the house.

The buzz doing the round is that Pravesh Rana, being a shrewd player, knows very well that he did not have a chance against the other two formidable opponents Poonam Dhillon and Vindu Dara Singh, and so has started playing emotional card of being a ‘Common man’.

Now, Pravesh is seen pleading with the audience that every common man should vote him, as he was one of them. He goes on to philosophize that his win in Bigg Boss’ house will signify the win of every ‘common man.’

So much so that, Pravesh Rana who is himself a celebrity after winning the coveted title of ‘Mr India’ in year 2008, has conveniently forgotten all that. All through his stay in bigg boss’ house, Pravesh was seen trying to be something special and bigger than everybody else, and suddenly (and funnily) he wants to imitate the virtues of a ‘common man’.

"I walked out for my family…" - Bakhtiyaar Irani

"I walked out for my family…" - Bakhtiyaar Irani

The angry young man of ‘Bigg Boss 3’, Bakhtiyaar Irani had left the audience and his fans shocked by walking out of the Bigg Boss house. What was more shocking is that it was the last week of the show and the winner was about to be announced.

As everyone is shocked Telly Cafe asks Bakhtiyaar the one question that is on everybody’s mind - why did he quit the game for a mere 10 lakh rupees? Now that he is out of the Bigg Boss house, he has lots of time to chit chat. Here he talks freely about the Bigg Boss game and what made him quit the game mid-way.

Why did you quit the game for just 10 lakhs rupees?
Well, it was last Friday when Amitabh Bachchan called me for an interview outside the Bigg Boss House and asked me about quitting the game and explained to me that I would be taking home 10 lakh rupees if I leave the game or I also had the option of continuing with the game. He put this proposal in front of me and asked for an answer.

Amitabh also showed me some clippings from the game where I am fighting with my sweet wife Tanaaz and scolding her very badly. Immediately after the clipping I started hating myself as it was so bad to see myself behaving in such a manner. I thought for a while and said to myself that if I have made up my mind for not sparing any of the contestants who have made my wife cry then why should I be spared? I didn’t want to be the winner because even I have done the same thing with my lovely wife and that moment itself I made my mind to quit the game and take the amount.

Are you happy with the decision?
Yes, of course I am happy with the decision but I know my wife and those people who have showered me with love have been disappointed with my decision so I would really want to say sorry to them for what I have done. But yes, I am happy with my decision. I have enjoyed every single moment after coming back to my house and want to spend all my time with my family.

I was so happy coming back and after a long period I could use my own toilet, my bedroom, my kitchen and I felt very clean. I have watched 8 movies continuously and I feel very fortunate that I was in the Bigg Boss house when these movies were released (laughs). I have spent my whole time with my son and daughter playing till late night but still it is not enough.

What changes are you feeling in your self after coming back from BB3?
I am feeling a drastic change in myself as I have transformed myself from an angry Bakhtiyaar to a very cool and calm person. I would like to elaborate on an incident after coming back from the house. While driving my car, an auto driver was going zig-zag and was literally obstructing my way but I kept cool and continued driving. After moving for a distance his rickshaw had an accident and went set up side down with the rickshaw driver lying under the soft roof. I voluntarily went to help that guy who was moments before playing tricks with me. I have stopped grumbling on silly things and that is the most remarkable change from me.

What was Tanaaz’s reaction after seeing you back from BB3?
Well, it was the most memorable thing I have experienced. It was quarter to two at night and Tanaaz had come to meet me when Amitabh was having an interview with me and it was a big surprise for me. She was a bit nervous with my decision but I kept an option in front of her saying, “Do you want 10 lakhs and a good husband or 1 crore and a bedroom sorry” and she chose the option of 10 lakhs.

But I am sure if Tanaaz would be on my place then definitely she would not have come back and would have won the game because Tanaaz has given a lot to the show which Aditi and Shamita had not given, even if they were in the game for quite a long time after Tanaaz was evicted.

Whom would you vote from the present contestants?
No one, I would not even bother to vote anyone. Vindoo is a big ‘Psycho’ and needs psychiatric treatment, but he has added lots of spice to the game. He is the one who has always given something new and has always kept the enthusiasm level high in the house. Pravesh has violated the rule as soon as he came in the house and informed Shamita about her sister’s wedding. He is planning each and every step of the game.

What about plans post Bigg Boss 3?
No plans as of now as I am waiting for my wife’s performance on the finale of BB3 and will then move on to fulfill my pending projects but that will happen only next year.

Vindu & Poonam have a mutual-admiration society for each other

Vindu & Poonam have a mutual-admiration society for each other

Time and tension in the Bigg Boss house sure makes strange bedfellows. Earlier Poonam and Vindu couldn’t stand each other. They were in separate groups and left no stone unturned to bitch about the other, and also to backbite. According to many of the Bigg Boss contestants, Vindu has also been known to talk about Poonam in derogatory terms calling her a ‘mad old woman’ amongst other terms. This was made public by Pravesh and many of the Bigg Boss contestants said that, ‘Yes Vindu had called Poonam bad words, as they were witness to that scene’.

But after most of their respective group members started getting eliminated, they would started talking to each toher the most and also spending time in each other’s company. Vindu keeps on calling her “Poonam ji” at least 3 times in each sentence. And Poonam seems to be quite enamored by this apparent show of affection and respect. No matter whatever Vindu says, she seems to agree to it, and that too, almost instantly.

When Vindu bitches about anybody then the first person to agree is Poonam and she seems to have caught on to his bitching ways well. They have successfully formed a mutual admiration society for each other. Another thing that Poonam has learnt very well from Vindu are the monologues with the camera. Now she is also seen pleading for votes and talking to the cameras, all by herself.

Battle for survival begins in Bigg Boss

Battle for survival begins in Bigg Boss

Morning begins with Bhakhtyar Irani’s message to his best pal Aditi Govitrikar who got eliminated last week and wishes her good luck in her life ahead. The finale week has started and it seems there is no room for peace in the Bigg Boss house. Bhakhtyar is seen badly begging for votes from his beloved wife Tannaz Irani as he wants to the winner.

Pravesh Rana and Vindu Dara Singh are seen chatting, and Vindu tells Pravesh that according to him Claudia was an intelligent girl but at the same time she was a liar. Disturbed Pravesh walks up to Bhakhtyar and narrates Vindu’s conversation. After listening to Pravesh, Bhakhtyar thinks that Vindu needs professional help.

Vindu and Poonam are bitching about Pravesh and Bhakhtyar. Today for the first time we will see Vindu cooking Dal in his style. As per the hand grenade Bhakhtyar has been given the responsibility to serve food and wash the clothes of the inmates. However he has been extremely lazy and has also got a serious warning from the Bigg Boss.

As the day progresses, Bhakhtyar comes up with the greedy idea of dividing the winning amount amongst the housemates. The attention seeking Bhakhtyar once more narrates his career story to others. Another night at the Bigg Boss house comes to an end as duo Pravesh and Bhakhtyar assign a bitchy tag lines to the inmates. Who will be able to survive this battle?

Personal issues are forcing me to look for work

Personal issues are forcing me to look for work

Former Mrs World Aditi Govitrikar was evicted from the Bigg Boss house, leaving behind only Poonam Dhillon, Vindoo Singh, Pravesh Rana and Bhakhtyar Irani.

Aditi talks to Rajul Hegde about her time in the house.

How was your experience?

It was an enriching experience. The biggest challenge for me was to live without my kids. I thought the journey would be easy but it wasn't. It's a psychological game, to be able to gel with people having different personalities.

Doing household work like cooking and sweeping was also a challenge.

Was it a conscious decision to just react and not initiate things?

I decided to be myself in the show. I would retaliate if someone confronts me. I will not sit back and take shit from anyone. But to generate that kind of attention is not me.

Last week, Poonam Dhillon's behaviour changed drastically towards you. She appeared very cold.

Initially, when everyone was present, I would spend most of my time with Tanaaz, Bhakhtyar and Shamita. So I did not get a chance to interact with Poonamji. But later on, we bonded well.

But yes, there were some arguments and hiccups that could have been avoided. Poonamji has played the game the way she feels is right. I think she has an equal chance of winning.

Aditi GovitrikarHave you forgiven Rohit Verma, who plotted and planned against the housemates including you?

Who am I to forgive him?

I was really upset with the footage shown to us because it was not pleasant. I am more upset with Rohit, as compared to Vindoo and Raju because he gave me an impression that he loved me. He used to say that I was a nice person and that he respected me. But then he plotted against everyone saying, 'Mallika ko nikalo', 'Doctor ko nikalo', 'Khiladi ko nikalo...' That was not right. He really backstabbed Tanaaz, Bhakhtyar and Claudia. Had he played the game well, he would have been in the house even now.

Did you feel like leaving the house at any point?

I had made up my mind that I would not cry in front of the camera. I did not want my kids to get disturbed. Nothing in the house made me cry except the time when I cried in the bathroom. But I felt like slapping people many times, especially Rohit (laughs).

Did Pravesh entering later into the house give him an advantage?

Yes. He came after five weeks, and had seen the way in which we were playing the game. He is focused and a smart player. I wish he was there from the start.

Vinod Kambli was very upset when you nominated him.

Kambli is my husband's friend and we have had a casual chat whenever we've met. But in the game, we had to nominate someone giving a valid reason. And I think I did that. Later, I came to know that I was the only one who nominated him. The final decision is never in our hands; it's a game he should take it in the right spirit.

What is Vindoo like?

Vindoo is a very complicated person but pure at heart and an entertainer. He has made up his mind that he has to win so he talks to himself and to the camera. Initially, I found that disturbing because it's weird. Now, it seems that I was the only person who didn't do that. I think even sharing our feelings with plants were a burden to them. I thought they might die if I start pouring out my heart to them!

What did you gain from Bigg Boss?

I made three good friends in Tanaaz, Bhakhtyar and Shamita.

Why did you agree to be part of Bigg Boss?

Bigg Boss is the biggest reality show in India . I thought it could give me the mileage for starting my career all over again. I have some personal issues which is forcing me to look for work now. And besides, my son is two and a half years old now.

Are you open to reality shows only?

Never say no to television. I had a blast doing two reality shows -- Khatron Ke Khiladi and now Bigg Boss.

Now, I am looking forward to dance reality shows and commercials. I want good character roles in films like in De Dana Dan too, where I had played Paresh Rawal's second wife.

Aditi Govitrikar evicted out of Bigg Boss house

Aditi Govitrikar evicted out of Bigg Boss house

Model and actress Aditi Govitrikar was evicted out of Bigg Boss 3 this Friday. She had been nominated along with Vindu Dara Singh, Bakhtiyaar Iraani and Poonam Dhillon.

There was competition between Aditi and Poonam Dhillon to become the first female winner of Bigg Boss 3.

But Aditi was apparently not very popular and played a safe game, which meant no controversy to add to the spice on the show.

Aditi was a part of a task where she was Mallika-e-Aditi and the entire house had to bow down to her wishes.

The finale of Bigg Boss 3 is on December 26.

Colors to replace Bigg Boss with romantic fictions

Colors to replace Bigg Boss with romantic fictions

Colors is adding two romantic fiction shows in its offering starting 28 December. The channel will replace Bigg Boss with Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam and Laagi Tujhse Lagan.

Post Bigg Boss season 3, which is coming to an end on 26 December, the Viacom 18 channel will air Yeh Pyaar… at 9 pm and Laagi Tujhse… at 9.30 pm respectively (both Monday-Friday).

Says Colors programming head Ashwini Yardi, "A big reason for selecting these shows for 9-10 pm band was that Bigg Boss has brought us new and younger audiences at this slot. With these shows, we are hoping to keep the interest of new as well as our stable audiences intact.”

“These shows have been chosen by the channel for their unique story-lines and the ability to entertain while carrying an important message to the audience,” Yardi added.

Produced by Creative Eye, Yeh Pyaar…is a love story set against the backdrop of caste politics and class discrimination still prevalent in our country. The story is set in Lucknow, where inter-caste relationships and marriages are still frowned upon.

Says Crative Eye promoter Dheeraj Kumar, "The story of this show resonates with anyone who has ever fallen in love with a person not from his or her own caste. As a society, although we have entered a modern era and are matching our step with the western world, our thinking still belongs to the dark ages where such relationships were considered taboo.

“Our show is an attempt to bring to fore the story of many such star crossed lovers who have had to endure immense hatred and rejection from their families and the society at large."

Meanwhile, Laagi Tujhse… is the story of a housemaid Nakusha, who has to live her life behind a veil of ugliness in order to protect her virtue. It is set in a fictional Mumbai slum and highlights the plight of the have nots who dot the city's filthy pavements. The show is produced by Paresh Rawal’s Playtime Creations.

Rawal says, "It (Laagi Tujhse…) highlights the plight of those in our society who have been marginalised due to financial inferiority. We are sure that the audiences will enjoy the show and will also be able to feel the pain and turmoil that the protagonist goes through."

Pravesh will win 'Big Boss', predict KRK, Claudia

Pravesh will win 'Big Boss', predict KRK, Claudia

He may have entered the show as a wild card entry, but Pravesh Rana has emerged the favourite to win the reality TV show 'Big Boss' with his former housemates, Kamaal Khan and Claudia Ciesla, predicting that he will be the last one standing.

Bhojpuri actor Kamaal Khan as well as the rumoured love interest of the former Mr India , Claudia Ciesla, say that he is sure to outplay and outlast the other favourite, Vindoo Dara Singh, to win the prize money of Rs 1 crore.

Pravesh is the only contestant who has got a fast track entry into the the finals, thanks to the the goodbye gift from Ciesla, while the others still have the sword of elimination hanging precariously above their necks.

"I think Pravesh will win the competition. He quickly got a hang of things and he knows how to say the right things in front of the right people. Vindoo is too temperamental and he has already upset too many people with his behaviour," Kamaal R Khan, the controversial housemate who was ousted from the show for his violent behaviour and then brought back as a "special guest" said.

Ten weeks and eight eliminations into the show, the final five contestants include Pravesh, actress Poonam Dhillon, model and former Mrs World Aditi Govitrikar, small screen actor Bakhtiyar Irani and Vindoo Dara Singh, the son of wrestling legend Dara Singh.

The show which is hosted by none other than Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan had begun amid a whirlwind of hype with 13 celebrities.

From Bollywood item girl Sherlyn Chopra to the mother of controversy queen Rakhi Sawant and Shilpa Shetty's younger sister Shamita Shetty, the housemates were a perfect recipe for drama and controversy.

"Rana has played his cards well. He is manipulative but he is charming," said Shiv Khanna, a devoted follower of the show.

"But Vindoo has a strong fan base and he has been saved by Desh ka Aadesh time and again and Pravesh is a totally new name for the audiences," added Khanna.

As of now Khanna is waiting for the finals to know whether Pravesh will be the one to join the league of the previous winners actor Rahul Roy and 'Roadies' star Ashutosh Kaushik.

It's Deshdrohi time for Bigg Boss inmates

It's Deshdrohi time for Bigg Boss inmates

The all dreaded Monday is once back again, bringing along the difficult task of nominations! The housemates wake up to the day with smiles on their faces and get busy with their daily chores. Aditi, Bhakhtyar Irani, Poonam Dhillon and Pravesh Rana are nostalgic thinking about Kamal Rashid Khan and are seen having a discussion on Kamal’s movie– Deshdrohi. Vindu Dara Singh who is still in the secret room feels that according to him Aditi is the wicked teacher and Bhakhtyar and Pravesh are her innocent pupils whom she is using to fulfill her sinister wishes in the house.

Bigg Boss calls Aditi in the confession room and assigns the weekly task titled– song and dance. For this task, they have been provided with props and a red round carpet which is placed in the garden area. As part of the task, each one needs to dance to their allotted song on the red carpet along with the props as well as perform when the group song is been played by wearing masks.

The task begins with Poonam’s performance and after some back to back performances of the housemates, a group song is played and all of them assemble on the red carpet wearing masks. During the group dance Vindu comes out of the activity area and joins the housemates leaving them shocked and surprised. Vindu reveals to the housemates that he was not evicted but actually he was watching them 24X7 from a secret area. Later when Vindu gets a chance he bitches about the rest with Poonam.

As Bigg Boss is coming to an end, there are only five contestants left in the house who have crossed all hurdles in their way. Is it purely by luck or the games they have played? So today, Bigg Boss gives the housemates an opportunity to know how luck is supporting them. Bigg Boss has invited a palm reader who is going to tell them about their luck and what they should do to make it strong. The housemates enthusiastically proceed towards the activity area.

Later Poonam confesses to Vindu that she is extremely happy to see him back and how she cried at his unfair departure from the house. Vindu, who has Poonam as his only friend in the house now too confesses at having missed her and being back only for her. Is something cooking between them?

The commencement of the last nomination process brings all the housemates in the living area. Bigg Boss announces that as per Claudia’s hand grenade Pravesh has now become the first finalist whereas on the other hand Bhakhtyar is nominated due to Vindu’s hand grenade.

As the day comes to an end, we find Bhakhtyar, Aditi and Pravesh recalling earlier events of the day and discussing who according to them was good at predicting the finalist. This topic reaches new heights with Bhakhtyar and Aditi telling Pravesh that the international participant, Claudia was a very smart player and she was the one who caused the divide within the house.

With the late night task performance another day at the Bigg Boss house comes to an end. What will be the outcome of this last nomination? Whose luck will emerge stronger in the race for the coveted title?

Claudia ousted, Vindoo returns, but Pravesh favorite to win Bigg Boss 3

Claudia ousted, Vindoo returns, but Pravesh favorite to win Bigg Boss 3

Vindoo Dara Singh, the son of renowned wrestler and actor Dara Singh who had been kept in a secret room in Bigg Boss 3 after the ouster of Claudia Ciesla, returned to join Pravesh Rana, Poonam Dhillon, Bakhtiyaar Irani and Aditi Gowitrikar on Monday.

Vindoo’s confinement to a secret room in Bigg Boss’ house was aimed at creating some spice for the viewers by making him hear the views of others about his actions. In fact, this practice had been there in the earlier two seasons of the show as well when Raja Chaudhary and Kashmira Shah were kept in the secret room and when brought into the house created more chaos and confusion.

However, the general consensus among audiences seems to be in favor of Pravesh Rana for the final prize of Rs 1 crore.

Vindoo Dara Singh, who has a very strong fan following of his own, is giving Pravesh Rana a very close fight for the title. However, Pravesh Rana, who is a former Mr. India, seems to have an edge among young audiences who love his youthful personality as compared to Vindoo Dara Singh’s temperamental nature.

Even the eliminated contestants are divided in their opinions about the would-be winner of the show in its third season. While Kamaal Rashid Khan, who was ousted from the house for his violent behavior, feels that Pravesh Rana had the wherewithal to sail through the game, Raju Srivastava feels Vindoo should win the finals.

On the other hand, Claudia Ciesla, who had ensured Pravesh Rana’s entry into the finals through her hand grenade, seems to be equally divided between her love interest Pravesh Rana(as was the case in Bigg Boss’ house) and Vindoo.

The gorgeous German Babe, who had earlier been rumored to be Salman Khan’s new girlfriend, feels that Vindoo Dara Singh was very honest and sincere in his approach and was not capable of harming anyone even unwittingly. Due to this, she would not mind if Pravesh Rana did not get the final prize.

“We have plans to party together.” Claudia Ciesla

“We have plans to party together.” Claudia Ciesla

The German supermodel – actress is an expert in Hindi language now as well as Indian cooking… skills that she picked up fast in the Bigg Boss house. Competing with strong players inside the Bigg Boss’s house who had their family and friends to provide them support, Claudia did not have any family here and neither did she know many people in Bollywood.

Yet this tough contender survived the Bigg Boss house and managed to stay inside for 10 weeks. Here, she recounts her experience…

How was the Bigg Boss experience?

I enjoyed in there and was a bit surprised to be voted out of the Bigg Boss’s house but I am happy at the end of the day. I had a good experience and am slowly coming back to normal life. It was fun inside the house, the atmosphere was different, the games and tasks were fun to do. The whole game was different and it was an experience of a lifetime.

What was the reason to enter the Bigg Boss’s house?

I think Bigg Boss is the best reality show and of course Mr. Amitabh Bachchan was the host and I hold him in high esteem. I could not say no to it. Even after my ouster it felt wonderful to be interviewed by Amitabh Bachchan as I think he is the God of Hindi film industry.

How did you manage life inside the house with your little knowledge of Hindi?

Initially, I faced a lot of difficulty when after few days I was not allowed to speak in English as per the Bigg Boss’s instructions. I could not even understand if anyone was bitching about me and I landed in jail because of not speaking in Hindi. So, it was a problem even though everyone had to translate it for me but then I tried my best to learn the language as I did not want to go back in jail. The result could be seen when in the last 2-3 weeks before my eviction I understood everything.

Someone commented that you did not know your national (German) anthem, how do you feel about it?

Every culture is different and every school has its own kind of teaching. I was not taught my national anthem in my school.

You struck a great rapport with Parvesh but do you think somewhere he used you to win the game?

I don’t think I am out of the house because of him. Parvesh is a nice friend and I had a good time with him. I don’t feel he used me as whatever we did inside the Bigg Boss’s house was natural since we are of the same age and we were comfortable with each other. If I would have felt that he is using me I would not have been friends with him.

After the show will you remain in touch only with Parvesh?

No, I will meet everybody and we even have plans to party together.

How was your jail experience?

I was scared of all kind of keedas floating around and Aditi had started crying when she was in jail but I did not. The jail experience made me take my Hindi lessons seriously as I did not want to go to jail again.

How was your equation with Kamal R Khan in the house?

When he first entered the house it was obvious that he was there to promote himself. He was so irritating that I thought I would kill him once we were outside. We all were very happy when we learnt that he was evicted and when he re-entered we all cursed Bigg Boss but surprisingly he was bearable the second time round.

So, how is life post “Big Boss 3′?

I am searching for a nice apartment in Juhu or Bandra. I already have lots of offers from Bollywood. My manager and I will now be discussing about the kind of work I should do. I am very focused and particular about what I have to do next.

Lastly, who do you think will win?

I think Vindu may win because he has lot of support and even though he has been nominated 5-6 times he has not gone out. I think he is playing the game right.

Claudia Ciesla not in love with Pravesh

Claudia Ciesla not in love with Pravesh

Oh no! Why she? That was the reaction of most of the people hooked to television sets to just watch Claudia Ciesla in ‘Bigg Boss 3’. She was unexpectedly evicted from the show last week.

Now, not only she understands Hindi but can also cook dal and roti.

So, will Claudia miss Pravesh Rana? She admits that they were close but all they had was fun and nothing more. And their chemistry, as the buzz goes, wasn’t “staged” with an eye on TRPs. “I don’t agree. Of course, each other’s support was a factor. We had fun, but nothing more. We were just friends inside the Bigg Boss House,” says Claudia.

But she feels that Pravesh will win. “I feel Pravesh or Vindu will ultimately win. Both are playing with a very good strategy and I feel both have a strong chance of winning the show,” she tells a daily. She even says, “No one is bad or playing dirty (in the house). A few people made mistakes, but that was all because of the circumstances. It is an emotional and a mental game, so people tend to react in ways they normally wouldn’t,” but she adds that Bakhtiyar Irani is a “meanie”.

As for now, she is not sad with her exit and says, “I’m interested in Bollywood and conducted myself in a way that people understood who the real Claudia is.”

Claudia Ciesla dismisses affair with ex-Mr India

Claudia Ciesla dismisses affair with ex-Mr India

German model Claudia Ciesla who was evicted from the house of Bigg Boss denies allegations that the program was scripted and said that she and her fellow contestant Pravesh Rana are just genuine friends.

Earlier, Claudia was also linked to Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan and recently there were rumors that she had grown close to former Mr India on the reality television show.

"We are just really good friends and we became pals on the show because we are the same age and we are both models, from the same background, so we had plenty of things to talk about," Ciesla told PTI.

The 23-year-old model had earlier worked with the Indo-German production Karma and now the reality show has helped her attract good work in Bollywood.

"My manager has already got many calls from producers regarding films. There are some interesting projects, though I cannot reveal much about them," said Claudia.

The model who was evicted from the show by the audiences said that she was proud of herself for surviving in the house for 10 weeks.

"All the other contestants are well known faces in India and I am an outsider. I don't have my family or fan base here. I was shocked when my name was announced but I am happy that I survived for ten weeks," said Ciesla.

KRK may get Amitabh

KRK may get Amitabh

One can recall how the obnoxious Kamal Rashid Khan alias KRK had asked Amitabh Bachchan to work in his Deshdrohi sequel during Bigg Boss 3. Well the update is that KRK has gone ahead and even narrated a script to Amitabh Bachchan.

Bachchan is said to have taken the narration patiently and asked for time to react to whether he would like to do it. “I have narrated the script to him and he said that he would get back within a week.

I was in the meantime back into the Bigg Boss House. I am going to call and ask him soon about this. He seemed sure to do it,” says an excited KRK.

KRK, Pravesh wanted to get physical with me in Bigg Boss : Rohit Verma

KRK, Pravesh wanted to get physical with me in Bigg Boss : Rohit Verma

After his stint in Bigg Boss, Rohit Verma has become a household name.

His antics, hysterics and constant scheming against the other housemates created a lot of drama in the house. While he regretted some of his actions and shed a tear or two, there are some people he refuses to forgive like Vindoo Dara Singh, Kamal Khan and Pravesh Rana.

He reveals why in a frank chat with his fans on Tuesday. For those who missed the chat, here's what transpired:

Rohit Verma says, Hi India. I'm here.

Pankaj asked, Hey Rohit, do you have the same bitching nature in real life also?
Rohit Verma answers, No.

a asked, Hi Rohit, I still support you for what you did to Tanaaz and bakthyar.. they deserved it. Dont you think tanaaz is double faced?
Rohit Verma answers, No. Tanaaz is a nice person. The situation in the house disturbs you, and you don't know what to do. Nobody is bad there. They all are good human beings.

yugu asked, Initially I had some sorts of sympathy for u and feeling that u r genuine.. but later on u came out be so cunning & completely lost.. I don't think u have any reputation left outside.. Hope u understand and try to be a gentleman atleast outside..
Rohit Verma answers, I don't have to prove to the world what I am. Whatever happened inside the house doesn't decide my character. Because in the game everybody wants to be a winner.

arpita asked, u did plotting in big boss house
Rohit Verma answers, Plotting was happening from the day one. And along with me there were a lot of people who were plotting. But I was never playing from my mind. I was playing from my heart. Then I realised that I can't build my own castle with somebody else's emotion. I was the first one who got up and said 'Sorry'.

Ranjay asked, Hi! Rohit, who is good in comparison, Vindu or Pravesh?
Rohit Verma answers, I think they both are b******. Pravesh doesn't have any ethics. And Vindoo thinks he's a winner. And he's the one who is manipulating everyone inside.

Bani asked, I think u were the only real person in B.boss what hurts u most?
Rohit Verma answers, At least you're one person in the country who realised that.

karan asked, Hi Rohit...do you really think Poonam was genuinely concerned for you? Or was she supporting you as a part of a strategy? Dont you think she is acting nice and playing a game like everyone else. Please be frank and honest! thanks
Rohit Verma answers, She was being genuine. She's a very nice person, and very, very clean-hearted.

guy asked, Did KRK attempt to molest you
Rohit Verma answers, Yes. And even Parvesh wanted to get very physical with me in a private toilet, where there was no camera.

Kamaal makes everyone eat green chilies as a task

Kamaal makes everyone eat green chilies as a task

Vindu teaches his monologue tricks to Poonam also. He tells her that in order to save herself from the eviction in this week. He teaches her the tricks of the trade of the process of raising sympathy in the eyes of the voters so that she is saved. Poonam tries to understand the process and later when nobody is there then she goes to the plants and bares her heart out and tells that she dreams of being the first woman winner of the Bigg Boss show.

Vindu bitches about Kamaal Rashid Khan, better known as KRK to his plants so that they can grow. It is ironical to say the least that the poor hapless plants have to listen to bitching so that they can grow.

KRK is the Bigg Boss of the house and he gives the cleaning task to all the Bigg Boss housemates. They are quiet fed up of his constant nagging but still do the task. Then he gives him 2 packets of juice as the reward. Then the real Bigg Boss calls him in the confession room and asks him to pull up his socks, as he is quiet lenient with the Bigg Boss housemates.

Then KRK comes in his full form and gives a daily task to the housemates that is spicy to say the least. He asks all of them to eat as many green chillies as they can. All the housemates eat a total of 116 green chilies which is a big surprise to all, as KRK had expected them all to eat just 45 of them.

Later in the garden, bereft of KRK, all are seen discussing that he is a very physically week man and they could put rat poison in his tea to finish him off. This whole process is discussed in great logistically detail by all the housemates.

Bigg Boss springs a surprise, nominates all Housemates

Bigg Boss springs a surprise, nominates all Housemates

The Bigg Boss sprang a surprise last night, by nominating all Housemates. Bigg Boss took the decision, as the housemates did not show any interest to complete their tasks last week and were indulged in pulling each other's 'satta' (rule). That put an end to the planning and plotting this week.

In another development, Kamal Rashid Khan (KRK), who has come to the house as a 'Guest' has been appointed as the 'Bigg Boss' till further orders. A confession room was made in the hall and all housemates were called one by one and asked what they want. Kamal rules the house now, keeping all housemates unaware that he is just a guest and not a contender any more.

Soon after the Bigg Boss announced that all housemates were nominated this week, Bakhtiyaar became nervous and apologised to Vindu and his son (on camera) for using slang language against him. But it was obvious that Bakhtiyaar did so to avoid the elimination by the public voting.

Bakhtiyaar, Poonam and Aditi are the weak contestants, as compared to others. As per the calculations, either Aditi or Poonam may be evicted from BiggBoss 3 this week. Let's wait and watch.

All are nominated & Kamaal is made the Bigg Boss

All are nominated & Kamaal is made the Bigg Boss

This episode of Bigg Boss starts with the usual Vindu’s monologue to the cameras in which he harps about his popularity. He is quiet proud of the fact that he got nominated so many times but hasn’t been evicted till now. And since today was the nomination day as well, so he acts all the more pompous.

Kamaal Rashid Khan, better known as KRK is back in his colors as he goes around inciting everyone about who nominated the Bigg Boss housemates for the titles of ‘Jealous’, ‘Manipulative’ and ‘Selfish’. They all start thinking about who wrote their names for the titles. Thus the seeds about whom to nominate for the current week are sown in everybody’s head by the cunning KRK. But Bigg Boss has a surprise up his sleeve for him.

Bigg Boss says that since they didn’t do the previous week’s weekly task properly so they all are nominated this week. This is met by an outwardly cool stance by all, but inside everyone is quiet shaken as the finale is quiet near and all want to see themselves as the finalists.

Then Baktiyaar asks for forgiveness from Vindu, whom he had bad-mouthed earlier. This move is appreciated by all, but the moment Baktiyaar walks out, Vindu asks bitching about him saying that he is a coward so he didn’t come earlier to say sorry, and waited till the nomination day. Poonam agrees with him even though earlier she had talked about the petty manner in which everyone was behaving due to the stress of the Bigg Boss house.

Then in a surprise development, the Bigg Boss crowns KRK as the Bigg Boss of the house till further orders. A confession room is also made in the hall and all are called one by one and asked what they want. KRK imitates Bigg Boss’s style to the T.

Claudia and Pravesh back in the pool

Claudia and Pravesh back in the pool

It's a lazy Sunday morning and housemates are busy with their daily household chores as usual.

As the day progresses, Kamaal and Vindu discuss further course of action. Kamaal advices Vindu to keep calm and avoid any arguments with other housemates so he can avoid eviction.

Meanwhile the love birds Claudia and Pravesh decide to spend some time and have fun at the pool side.

Later, Bigg Boss assigns housemates a task, wherein everyone has to portray a character of his or her choice. Further, they will have to provide reasons for choosing a certain character. The housemates then spend time to select the characters.

Meanwhile, Vindu and Kamaal sit together to bitch about the other housemates. Vindu points out that Claudia, who he considered his sister at one point of time, has let him down by getting friendly with Bakhtiyaar and Aditi. Thereafter, Kamaal gets into a discussion with Pravesh and Bakhtiyaar about his struggling days and life in general.

Housemates spend time in ideating and producing a short play which would include all the characters they have chosen to play. As the task alarm rings, all assemble in the living room and perform their task.

Towards the evening, Kamaal complains of being unwell and so, Bigg Boss calls in a doctor to examine him. The doctor prescribes some medicines and asks Kamaal to take rest. Seeing Kamaal's condition, Vindu advices Kamaal on getting married so that his wife could take good care of him on a long run.

Another day comes to an end at the Bigg Boss house. Indeed a peaceful yet tense Sunday, as everyone is busy thinking who will be the next to be shown the door in the Bigg Boss house.

Claudia Ciesla bridges Indian and European Television

Claudia Ciesla bridges Indian and European Television

When Endemol India and the channel Colours decided to sign on German supermodel Claudia Ciesla for the third season of their very popular show Bigg Boss 3, maybe they didn’t realise that Claudia – who is a very popular ramp and fashion model in Germany and the rest of Europe – would become some sort of a brand ambassadress for Indian Television.

Knowingly or unknowingly, Colours as a brand has ensured that its reach has spread to Europe and Germany for sure. Says Claudia Ciesla’s manager in Germany Gergor Kaden, “A lot of people in Germany have begun watching the channel Colours thanks to Claudia as she is very popular as a model, singer and fashionista out here. While the channel would have otherwise been an unknown entity among the common man in places like France, Germany, Italy, Poland, etc., Claudia’s presence and persistence in Bigg Boss has sparked off a flurry of media activity.” In the last six months, there must have been about 2-3 articles on Indian television, but the last two months has seen about 8-10 stories on the ‘booming Indian television market’.

Claudia Ciesla’s Indian publicist Flynn Remedios – himself a senior journalist and Media Analyst says: “While Bollywood and Bollywood movies were discussed and have been mentioned time and again in the European press and media, in the last two months, thanks to Claudia Ciesla’s ongoing stint in the popular Reality Show Bigg Boss, Indian Television shows have become the apple of the European media’s eye. At least 8-10 articles have appeared in the mainline European print media in the last one month alone,” explains Flynn, adding that one of the biggest German (and European) papers BILD has published two articles on Bigg Boss and Indian television shows in the last one month itself.

“A prestigious eco-political magazine FOCUS has also written about Indian Television. Local newspapers in Germany, Poland (from where Claudia originally hails) and Baveria (where she currently stays) have also run articles on Reality Shows in India,” adds Flynn Remedios displaying the clippings of these articles. “It’s not just the tabloid press or the entertainment media that’s suddenly taking additional interest in India. It’s also the business, commercial and financial media. Analytical articles have appeared on the advertising potential, the reach, etc of Indian channels like Colours.

Even the quality of Indian TV programming and software has come under scrutiny with the latter coming out in a very positive and encouraging way,” explains Remedios. “Indian TV shows, their packaging, presentation, style, concept, publicity strategy and the works are now being discussed in detail in the European trade media,” informs Flynn Remedios, who tracks the international media with an eagle’s eye for his clients. Another media analyst and entertainment journalist, Rejane Coelho opines that Claudia Ciesla’s participation has bridged Indian television with the mainline European media.

“It’s not just the print media in Germany and Europe, even local television channels have run clips and footage of the Indian version of Bigg Boss regularly, showcasing Claudia Ciesla’s performance – something which they probably would not have done if she was not in the show. She could barely speak a few words in Hindi when she very bravely went into the Bigg Boss house,” says Remedios, who was responsible for Claudia Ciesla’s media strategy, branding and imaging in India.

“Even I was worried. How would Claudia cope? How would she manage when her culture, customs, diet and lifestyle are so very different?” But Claudia Ciesla the fighter has managed to stick on for almost ten weeks, when others like Sherlyn Chopra with a much greater fan following were evicted in the first phase of the show itself.” Between Greg and myself, we had given her 6-8 weeks, says Remedios, but she has really done well for herself.

“When the show went on air, some of my media friends and even editors said Claudia Ciesla was a bimbette and kinda dumb. But that was a well-thought of strategy to lie low and stick around,” adds Remedios whose strategy has probably helped his client do what other Indian actresses like Sherlyn Chopra (co-incidentally his former client) failed to comprehend. Keeping a low profile, lying low was a rehearsed strategy. Claudia Ciesla is otherwise a very aggressive woman with fire in her belly, says Remedios.

Comedian Raju Srivastav voted out of Bigg Boss 3

Comedian Raju Srivastav voted out of Bigg Boss 3

In an unexpected development, Comedian Raju Srivastav, who was nominated by Bigg Boss housemates for the first time, was evicted from the show. Raju became a scape goat in the tussle between two strong contenders Vindu Dara Singh and Pravesh Rana. While India talked about Vindu and Pravsh, Raju was ignored by the viewers and voted out of Bigg Boss 3.

Raju Srivastav was the most popular figure on Bigg Boss 3 and always tried his best to keep the housemates happy through his comedy skills. It was really heartbreaking to see Raju's back, as he was expected to stay for some more time. Ironically, he did not get a second chance to fight and was out on the first elimination.

Earlier, the Bigg Boss housemates voted Aditi as an 'Opportunist' and Bakhtiyaar Irani was voted as 'Jealous'. Both Vindu Dara Singh and Bakhtiyaar were termed as 'Manipulative'. Since Vindu and Pravesh survived today, the battle in the BiggBoss house will be intensified further.

Vindu has already challenged that he will prove himself as the biggest manipulator in the coming weeks, if he survives today. Ironically, Pravesh Rana, who had vowed to walk out of the show, if Vindu is not evicted, did not keep his promise and remained silent.

Politicians in the house choose to cruze

Politicians in the house choose to cruze

Well we have all seen politics outside which according to many of us is very nasty and often leads us to the table of discussion! But my dear friends, the politics that goes inside Big Bosses house is even more dangerous than the real life politics and the politician even more dangerous. That’s why Bigg Boss came out with the idea to inculcate something in the game format which brings out the real spice of politics.

The housemates had the power to select their PM and bring his government down if he/she is not found apt for the post. The most interesting part was that he/she should be sent to jail after his/her government falls down. At the end we found almost everyone going to jail leaving Claudia for this task. Pravesh who was acting that he was sick was sent to jail as he admitted that he was not down with any viral and he did it so that he is saved from being jailed!

In the activity area we saw a new Chevrolet Cruze, with all the specifications mentioned and the task that was given to them was to prepare an advertisement for the car. Poonam, Vindoo, Bakhtiyar and Raju won the task and they were given delicious meal for the night.

Vindoo is a good guy, but totally brainless

Vindoo is a good guy, but totally brainless

Being on Bigg Boss house is not easy, a fact Tanaaz Irani knows very well. The actress along with her husband Bhakhtyar had entered the third season of the reality show.

While Tanaaz was eliminated recently, her husband is still trying his luck in the house.

In a candid chat with her fans on Friday, Tanaaz revealed just who her friends and enemies are from the show and why she can't wait to teach one of them a lesson.

Tanaaz Irani says, Hi everyone! It's Tanaaz. I'm really happy to be here chatting with you. It feels good that I'm out of the house now and that I really know what everybody was all about. Yes, if I do get a chance, I would love to. Because this time I would play it very differently! The smartest player right now, according to me, is Poonamji, because she never got nominated even once. But now her desperation to win is kind of showing.

sanju asked, hi tanaz how is ur small baby? how u feel being with him? i like ur acting skill since childhood. god bless , is it really something wrong between u & ur husband?
Tanaaz Irani answers, Everything is fine between Bakhatyar and me. Our son is doing very well and it's just a show, where we're put in very difficult situations. So, obviously different people react differently. So it's not something we're going to be carrying home.

Nawale.amit asked, Hows the life after Big Boss?? What other then ur hubby r u missing from Big Boss House..???
Tanaaz Irani answers, I'm not missing anyone at all, except for Bee. I have made two lovely friends -- Aditi Govarikar and Shamita Shetty -- who I am going to keep in touch with and be good friends with.

gcp asked, hi tanaaz, who u feel a good human being vindoo or pravesh
Tanaaz Irani answers, I think both Pravesh Rana and Vindoo Singh are okay human beings. They are just at different stages of life. Pravesh has just entered the industry, and this is his time in the sun. He has nothing to lose, and so being diplomatic for him was not a criterion. And he saved us all the torture of doing the dirty work of telling Vindoo exactly where he is coming from. Vindoo is a good guy at heart, but totally brainless, and therefore puts us all in a tizzy with his stupid way of thinking.

Tusgar asked, You did great at the big bosses house. Its time for Bakhtiyar to play his magic, this time he deserves to win. If you enter the big bosses house again, please do not disturb his game, as he is playing intelligently.

Tanaaz Irani answers, I think you're right, and I would love him to win this game. Just keep voting for him when he needs it. And thank you so much for liking us!

ankur asked, hi tanu...u were the only gal in this big boss whom i n my family realy liked...v realy miss u a lot.. plz cum back in any cost..
Tanaaz Irani answers, Thank you so much! And I hope you will support us when we need it.

helloworld asked, did you met/spoke to rohit after his exit from bigg boss ?

Tanaaz Irani answers, I have not spoken to Rohit at length. I have just exchanged cordial notes, because his mom and sister had called me to apologise on his behalf. And I found it my duty to forgive him, as they had requested me. But beyond that, I have not, repeat NOT, gone out for dinner with him, as he claims to tell everyone. As I definitely do not want to be associated with somebody who lies so much about his own family. He did not even bother to turn around and escort his mother off the stage. Mr Bachchan had to do the needful, and that was totally a put off for me and my fans. And I got a lot of feedback on that. I will never let my fans and the people who supported me down by going out socially with a person like this.

Mayhem in house-Raju, Aditi & Baktiyaar jailed

Mayhem in house-Raju, Aditi & Baktiyaar jailed

There was complete mayhem in the Bigg Boss house today, courtesy the unique weekly task given by the Bigg Boss to all the contestants. Poonam was already in jail, and when her jail term ended then the present PM of the house Raju, was packed off to the jail, as his government was overthrown.

Then Aditi becomes the new Prime Minister of the house. And Poonam turns into a bitchy and vicious person after she comes out of the jail. She is angry that nobody came to visit her in jail and even after she came out, no one is talking with her in his or her usual way. She is seen blabbering away all alone to the cameras and bad-mouthing Aditi and the others for their indifference. She is highly agitated, irritated and her every word is laced with sarcasm. Her true face can be seen now, in all its glory.

Meanwhile there is lots of confusion over when to end Aditi’s term and it is mutually decided by all, that in the night they would break the house rules and send her to jail as well. The rules are broken and she is packed off to jail with Raju for company. Then Baktiyaar is chosen as the new PM of the Bigg Boss house and with in 5 minutes his government is in trouble as well. There is complete mayhem in the house as cameras are blocked, mics are thrown off, furniture is trotted about on somebody’s head and what not.

Then Baktiyaar’s government also collapses and he is also packed off to jail where Raju and Aditi are already present. And Pravesh Rana is chosen as the new PM of the Bigg Boss house for the next few hours.

Pravesh is the schemer according to Rohit Verma

Pravesh is the schemer according to Rohit Verma

Rohit Verma who was evicted from the Bigg Boss 3 recently after spending several weeks in the house conspiring against housemates, has accused Pravesh Rana, Mr. India, to be the worst manipulator in the house.

The ace designer feels that it was the young struggling model who had plotted against him by spreading vicious rumors about him. In fact, Pravesh Rana was the first person to openly confront Rohit and thrash him in front of all housemates for being devious, mean and one of the worst backbiters in the house. It was after Pravesh’s outburst that majority of the housemates became against him and nominated for the eviction.

Though Rohit tried to save himself by enacting a weeping drama and showing so called guts in accepting his guilt, but the audiences did not buy any of this and voted him out. Vindoo, who had also been nominated for the eviction, was thus saved and remained in the house along with Claudia, Raju Shrivastava, Poonam Dhillon, Aditi Gowitirkar, Bakhtiyaar Irani and Kamal Khan.

However, Rohit Verma did not spare Raju Shrivastava and threw the hand grenade given by Bigg Boss on him. In fact, Raju has been ordained by that grenade to wear ladies’ garments for the full week, and the funny man, though upset, did not utter a word and started doing the needful.

'Paa' comes to Bigg Boss 3

'Paa' comes to Bigg Boss 3

Tuesday on Bigg Boss 3 to an end with the last task assigned by Bigg Boss titled PAA.

Housemates had to memorise Paa character Auro's steps from the video shown and then dance whenever the music was played.

And so, everyone got on their toes and started dancing, Auro style. Pravesh was especially charming.

With this, another eventful day came to an end.

Will India vote Pravesh Rana out of Bigg Boss 3 ?

Will India vote Pravesh Rana out of Bigg Boss 3?

When Pravesh Rana entered the Bigg Boss house, it was expected that he would try his best to twist the game in his favour, but the way he manipulated things inside the Bigg Boss house, came as a surprise for many. Pravesh Rana, is playing his game with a careful strategy. He knows whom to hit and when to hit. He is targeting housemates one by one.

The first thing Pravesh did after entering Bigg Boss 3, was to win over Claudia Ciesla, who has been playing safe game so far. He started flirting with Claudia and later impressed her. With Claudia under his control, Pravesh targeted Rohit Verma. He chose his own words carefully and made sure to make Rohit a target.

Pravesh's focus has now shifted to Vindu and Poonam, who are one of the strongest contenders of this show. He deliberately clashed with Vindu and tried to expose him to the public anger. He is still doing that everyday so that Vindu gets less votes and evicted from BiggBoss 3.

His next target is Poonam and once Vindu and Poonam are out of Bigg Boss house, he will target Raju Srivastav and Bakhtiyaar Irani. Pravesh is the most clever and cunning person in this house.

Pravesh did not expect a nomination for him this week, which made him lose his cool too. He is now pitted against Vindu and Raju, who are considered very strong. Will Pravesh survive the eviction this week? Or, India will vote him out of the house?

More drama and action remain on Bigg Boss 3 this week. But the public response will decide Pravesh's fate. He can fool everyone, but not the viewers, who understand everything better than the housemates.

Drama is part of my sexuality : Rohit Verma

Drama is part of my sexuality : Rohit Verma

A week after the public embarrassment of solitary confinement for planning nominations in the Bigg Boss house, designer Rohit Verma has been booted out of the show. “I became a scapegoat between Vindu and Raju because I was the weakest of us three. People are scared of Vindu because anyone against him in the nominations gets voted out. And Raju is a comedian with a massive fan following.”

The inmate who earned the reputation of being manipulative on the show, says he feels “emotionally used by the people I was dependent on”. “Everyone in the house was planning the nominations, but I was the only one who admitted my mistake. Others there believe to err is divine.” But Verma’s biggest grudge is against newcomer Pravesh Rana and old friend Vindu. “They are the biggest manipulators in the house. Pravesh poisoned people’s mind and tarnished my image. He’s a struggling model who will go to any extent for work. Vindu keeps changing his colours every now and then.”

About his own over-the-top expressions which led other friend Bakhtiyar to call him a great actor, Verma says, “Drama is a part of my sexuality and I flaunt that. But I’m not an actor. There are other actors inside the house. Bakhtiyar is one. A lie-detector test has shown that my emotions were true indeed.”

And what about his stories that his family doesn’t keep in touch with him when he had spoken to his mom just before entering the show? “I didn’t lie. I said I speak to my parents on-and-off. I’m not in touch with my sisters. After the show my parents accepted me the way I am.”

Vindoo is the villain of Bigg Boss

Vindoo is the villain of Bigg Boss

After much plotting and planning against his housemates, Rohit Verma was evicted out of the Bigg Boss house. Even his apologies and tears did not change the audience's mind, as they voted the fashion designer out.

Rohit talks to Rajul Hegde about his time in Bigg Boss.

What was your Bigg Boss experience like?

It is a mix of good and bad memories. I entered the house like an innocent child and played games. Later, I got trapped in the manipulation and became a scapegoat. The people I depended upon used me emotionally. I was mentally harrowed at one point of time and even turned suicidal. After seeing the audio-visual, I was broken. That's why the psychiatrist changed the game and showed some of my good moments.

Why didn't you realise your mistakes before Bigg Boss exposed you?

You are living with 13 strangers. All of them hope to make it to the grand finale. To win becomes so important that you forget your individuality. The prize money is so huge that the greed comes automatically. A good amount of money is being paid for you to be on the show too. The longer you stay on the show, the higher your bank balance gets.

Do you think you were nominated only because Bigg Boss exposed you?

Yes. The housemates were planning the nominations but I was the only one who admitted my mistake. I think I deserved it because I was playing wrong.

I am proud of myself and everyone should feel the same about me because I was the only one who accepted my mistake. Vindoo Singh and Raju Srivastav were part of the backbiting but they were not guilty at all.

Rohit VermaBut the housemates felt that you were faking it after Bigg Boss unmasked you. You were trying to gain sympathy and save yourself from eviction.

If you had seen the lie detector test, you wouldn't have asked me this question. A lie detector test has shown that my emotions were true. For me, Bigg Boss 3 got over the night I saw the footage of us backbiting. I criticised myself. You need guts to do that. Everyone has come to win the prize money. Even a friend will backstab you because winning becomes so important.

You were discussing your financial difficulties on Bigg Boss. Is that one of the reasons why you took part in Bigg Boss?

Everyone goes through a credit crunch. The fashion industry has dipped because there were no international buyers in the fashion week this year. But that doesn't mean I don't have a bank balance. Yes, it's difficult to survive because of the kind of lifestyle we lead.

When you were inside the house, questions were raised whether you are a fashion designer or a choreographer.

I laugh at such statements. Many of them have come to my fashion shows! But I don't need to prove anything. If you google Rohit K Verma, you will know about New York fashion shows. You will see international models on my Facebook.

Taanaz Irani was upset with you after she was evicted.

I learnt about that after I came out of the house. If I were in her place, I would have reacted the same way too. Initially, Bhakhtyar, Taanaz, Shamita Shetty , Aditi Govitrikar and I were best friends. We would gang up and make fun of others.
Then one of the housemates told me that Bhakhtyar and Tanaaz were bitching about me and planning my nomination. I was shocked. After that, I saw Tanaaz discussing my nomination in front of me in a coded manner. So I decided to nominate them. I wanted to send Tanaaz out. Poonamji (Dhillon) also told me that they had used me.

Who is the villain in the house?

Everybody knows that. It's Vindoo.

How did you take Kamaal Khan's re-entry into the house?

I don't want to talk about people who are not important in my life.

Why do you think Pravesh Rana did not gel with you?

Pravesh is a struggling model and he will go to any extent for work. He is the biggest manipulator in the house. He poisoned people's minds and tarnished my image.

What next?

I'm waiting for the wild card entry. I don't want to go back in tears but as a changed person.
